My Interests, Skills and Goals

My career goal is to do social work. I have some interests and skills that I know will suit this future career well. I have many personality traits that relate to social work. For example, I’m outgoing and patient. I like help others. An example of this is in my classroom. If there is someone who is having problems, I always do my best to help them in a nice way. I can tell by the way they react, that my interpersonal skills are good.

I have some skills that I brought over with me from China. In China I worked for the government in administration. I solved problems and supervised community order. I gained a lot of transferrable skills through this. Furthermore I am bilingual in Mandrin and English.

I plan on working as a social worker within 5 years. I will know I’ve reached this goal when I have mastered all of the skill needed to serve people in need. In order to get this job, I plan to take the following steps: first, finish the ESL program by January 2016, then earn my high school diploma by January 2018, then gather any extra needed experience for the job by January 2019.

The reason this career is so important to me is because I interested in making a difference in people’s lives. In conclusion I believe social work is my best choice as a career in the future.

My career goal is to own a shoe shop. I have some interests and skills that I know suit my future career well.

I have many personality traits that relate to the career that I want. For example, I am a outgoing person and I like to communicate with others. I can explain the advantages of products clearly.

I have some skills that will fit my new career well. For example, I had a shoe shop in my country. I have the experience of selling shoes. And I can help customers to find the products suit them. I also understand how to running a small business.

I plan on working as a shopkeeper of a shoe shop. I will know I have reached this goal when I own a shoe shop. In order to get this job I plan to the following steps. First, I need to improve my English because I need to communicate with my customers in English. I need to finish my ESL program in one year. Then I need to take a part-time job in a shoe shop to get more experience. Then I need to choose a appropriate place and accumulate money. I plan to have a shoe shop by 2020. This career is so important to me is because I like to communicate with people and I enjoy the process of selling. It not only can make money but also I enjoy it.

In conclusion, to be a shoe shopkeeper is my career goal. I will try my best to work on it.

My career goal is to become a kindergarten teacher. I’m a patient person. I like to work patiently together with children playing and talking. Furthermore, I’m responsible. I can take good care of children. I have a special teacher qualification. In addition to this, I was a special teacher for four years in China. I have the experience of teaching and taking care of children. I'm also good at communicate with parents. I am used to giving advice to parents on how to handle the special kid’s emotion problem. I plan on working as a kindergarten teacher. In order to get this job, I plan to take the following steps. First, I need to finish the ESL program. Then I will go to a university to earn my qualification as a kindergarten teacher. I plan to have this job by 2021. I love children very much! So this career is so important to me. In conclusion, I hope I can become a kindergarten teacher. In order to reach my goal, I realize I must study very hard and not to give up on my goal.

There are many kind of jobs, however I like taking care of old people the most. For example, I feel happy when I get to help older people. It’s also important to have experience, because if something bad happens you will know what to do. I have some knowledge on how to take care of older people and of common diseases that older people usually acquired. I know how to treat these more common diseases. I am helpful and hard-working, which is useful with this kind of job. Older people usually need a lot of help and sometimes the tasks require you to have strength and patience. I have the ability to help them to eat, change clothes and walk or push them when they are in a wheelchair. My heart is in it, so I know I will do my best with this job.

To get started, I would first like to learn more about common medical equipment used in people's home. Second, I will read books on useful ways to take care of older people.

In conclusion, taking care of old people is my main goal now. I hope I can find this job quickly in the near future.

I have always had a variety of interests and goals, but as I age, I grow. I am continually changing. Now, what are my interests and future goals? I think it lies in restaurant management.

I enjoy solving problems at work. I like to chat with customers to gage their wants, their favorites, their comments, and their dietary habits. I like managing.

I have many useful skills. For example, I have experience as a manager. I’m good at training waiters to serve customers. I have managerial skills and I’m not afraid of hard work.

I plan on working as a manager by 2020. Right now, I ‘m taking ESL classes at Rosemead El Monte Adult School. Upon finishing my ESL classes, I will take a management class and work in an American restaurant to gain practice. If I have time, I will read some relevant books. I will try to make a good name for myself by solving and coming up with workable solutions that I will communicate to my boss. I will work hard. I will know I’ve reached my goals when I promoted manager.

I hope doing the work that combines my interests and skills will lead me to my goal. I love management and I know this is the right career for me.

I want to become a Certificated Enrolled Agent in the near future. I have some interests and skills that I know will suit my future career well.

I have many personality traits that relate to the career that I want. I’m sensitive to economic numbers. I enjoy working independently, but I’m a team member as well. I am a hard worker and a fast learner. I can easily communicate with people in English as well as in Chinese.

I have some skills that will fit my new career well. For example, I graduated from a university twenty years ago in China. My major was accounting. Then I worked for a Germany company for 11 years as an accountant. In addition to this, I’ve already take part in some financial software training for 2 months in USA last year.

I plan on working as a Certificated Enrolled Agent by the end of 2016. I will know I’ve reached this goal when I got a job to help people to report the taxes in a CPA firm. In order to get this job, I plan to take the following steps. First, I’ll finish the ESL program and the high school program at the adult school. Then I’ll attend a local community college to study accounting. At the same time, I’ll try to find a related job as a CPA or CPT assistant to get some experience here in USA.

The reason this career is so important to me is because I like to help people to design their financial plan to have a high quality of life. At the same time, I will become financially independent and even help my family in the future. It makes me feel great to have a hopeful and purposeful life.

In conclusion, I want combine my skills and goals together to get a colorful life in my mind.

I have some interests and skills that I know will suit my future career as an interpreter well.

I have many personality traits that relate to the career that I have. For example, I am extroverted and service oriented. I like helping people. I especially enjoy helping people who only know a little English when coming to the USA. I have some skills that will fit my new career well. For example, I am good at communicating with people. I enjoy helping people who may have difficulties with reading, writing or speaking. I am also bilingual in Chinese and English. This is particularily helpful in Los Angeles, where many tourist from Asia first land. In the future, I plan on working as a an interpreter at an international airport. In order to reach this goal, I plan to take the following steps. First, I need go to school ever day so that I can complete the ESL program. I know this may not easy to achieve, but I will study hard to do it. Then I will go to a community college to study the field. Perhaps I will get a job as an intern at the airport, before getting a full time job. I plan to have this job by 2010. The reason why this career is so important to me is because I think this will be a rewarding career. It’s fun and it will help me to learn and have use for different languages. I have a wide variety of interests, but my main interest is phlebotomy. I have many personality traits that will suit this career well. I' m careful, intuitive, hardworking, and organized. I also have a strong sense of responsibility. People often tell me I'm outgoing and helpful. I have some strong skills that can be useful in my new career. For example, I have worked as a teacher for adults wishing to learn basic Spanish. I have also worked in childcare. This has given me planning, managing and people skills. Furthermore, I'm bilingual in Spanish and English. I plan on working as a phlebotomist by 2018. In order to get this job I plan to take the following steps. First, I will finish my ESL classes and earn my certificate. Then, I will continue to take classes at El Monte Adult School so I can gradute from the high school program. After this i completed, I will take phlebotomy classes and receive the necessary training. This should take me about 2 semester. The reason this career is important to me is because I have always wanted to help people in need. I think it is interesting and I think it's good to socialize with people everyday. In conclusion, I hope one day I can become phlebotomist and help people.

My career goal is to become a teacher. I have some interest in skills that I know will suit this future career well.

Firstly, I have many personality traits that relate to the career that I want. For example, I’m a good listener. I often put myself in others choose in order to understand them better. I also love to help people. I really enjoyed children and I’ve had a lot of experience working with them in my country before.

Secondly, I have some skills and technology that I think will suit this career well afterwards. For example I can make lesson plans using PowerPoint I can type and use the projector. I’ve learned how to make lesson plans from my teacher before. I have even had three months of practice as a teacher at a school before. Solving problems is one of my strong points. No matter how hard it is, I try my best to solve the problem.

In order to be a teacher, I plan to take the following steps. First, I need to finish the ESL program at El Monte Adult School. Then I will register at Pasadena city College and study there for two years taking teacher preparation classes. After PCC I plan to transfer to the university of California. I expect all of this to take about four years to complete.

In conclusion, I intend to become a teacher in the next four years. I will try my best to make sure that I will reach my goal.

My career goal is to have a career that involves counting. I have some special interests and skills that I know will suit this kind of a career well. My career goal is to become a fashion designer. I have some interesting skills that I know will suit this career well. I have some personality traits that will be important in this job. For example, I have a good sense of style. I understand how colors and different types of clothes go well together. I am also hard-working. I am not afraid to work long hours to get what I want. I have some skills that will work in my career as a fashion designer. I know how to sew and I can do inspection of the clothing items. I am also interested in learning design and computer aided design. I know I will have reached this goal when I open a garment store in downtown Los Angeles. My future career goal is to become a restaurant chef. I have some interests and skills that I think will suit this career well. I have some strong personality traits that should help me in this career. I am a hard-working person. I do not mind putting in long hours to get when I want. I am also creative in the kitchen. I can put ingredients together to make delicious meals. I have some skills as well that will be good in becoming a chef. People have told me that I’m an excellent cook. I have two main interests, drawing and fashion design. I really like to design clothing. When people wear close it makes them feel and look beautiful. This makes me happy. I have some interests and skill that I know will suit my future career well. I have many goals, but my career goal is to become an interpreter.

I have several personality traits that relate to the career that I want. For example, I like talking with people in many languages. I enjoy studying and using the different languages. I am also interested in traveling and discovering the cultures of the world. I am a good listener, I am friendly and I am very patient. When ever someone has a problem or need help, I am always willing to help as much as I can.

I have some skills that will also suit my career as an interpreter. For example, I am multilingual. That is a good skill to get this job. For example, I learn Korean all by myself. I can read and write Korean quite well. I also have good computer skills. I think the computer is so useful these days and we use it quite a lot.

My plan is to work as an interpreter for a company in downtown Los Angeles. In order to get this job, I plan to take the following steps. First I need to finish my ESL classes at El Monte Adult School. Then I’m going to get an associates degree at a local community college. After that, I need to go to a university in order to get a bachelors degree in a related subject. I plan to work as an interpreter by the year 2022. The reason this career is so important to me, is because I want something challenging for me. This is what keeps me going. My Interests, Skills and Goals

I was a child , I used to have a big goal. But since I came to America, I knew my career goal is to own a nails shop. I am interest in nails design. I have some skills and experiences that I know I would be become a good designer.

First, I need to improve my English. I just came to America, so my English is still weak. I know English is very important because It is the key to success In America. I am taking ESL right now. My goal is to complete all my ESL classes in 1 year. I try to make friends with my classmate so I can practice my communication skill. I want to be able to talk to my customers.

Second, I want to get a degree and get a job, I have to save a lot of money for my future shop. I also will gain more experience in dealing with customers In addition, I would make my connection and it will help my business later.

My biggest goal is to open my own nails shop. I used to work part-time in a nails shop after school. So I feel confident in running a nails shop. I plan to have a nails shop in 2018 when I have enough experiences.

I will start from small goals to get my dream. I know it won’t be easy to make it but I will work hard and reach my goals.
